Our Team

Kristen has been a professional hunter rider and trainer for 30 years.  She specializes in hunters & equitation for both juniors and amateurs.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Kristen stepped immediately into showing horses professionally under the tutelage of her mother and aunt.

Together with her husband Greg, they established the NewChance Farm in 2013.  They have developed NewChance Farm into a boutique “A” circuit show barn catering to the serious competitor with the main focus being on the hunter and hunter derby ring.

Kristen has a long list of GF green horses that she developed into winning horses, both, for her and their owners.

NewChance Farm is usually seen showing in the Northeast as well as wintering at WEC in Ocala.

Kharah has been an integral part of the NewChance Farm team since it’s inception in 2013.

In addition to overseeing the care of all the NewChance horses, she also rides and teaches.

She was the recipient of the New England Equitation Finals Grooms Award as well as being the winner of the Rhode Island Finals Horsemanship Exam.
